Video has leaked from a Cast Member preview of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at EPCOT. In the video below, you can see the first part of the attraction, before the backward launch into the massive gravity building. The video starts with the ride vehicles pulling out of the load station as the Guardians of the Galaxy characters make quips about the upcoming adventure. After a short lift hill, guests are taken through a starfield and a jump point to come face-to-face with Eson, the villain of the attraction. As we described in our first impressions review of the attraction, rock music plays before Star-Lord can be heard saying that you can’t stop the music. As Eson prepares to grab Earth, projection effects simulate going back to the Big Bang before “Conga” is heard and vehicles begin the smooth backward launch before the video cuts out.
