Disney World has announced an all-new nighttime entertainment called “Frozen Holiday Surprise” that will “illuminate the castle in a whole new way” this holiday season. There was some hope that the popular Cinderella Castle Dream Lights would return in 2023 now that the 50th Anniversary decor has been removed from Cinderella Castle, but this new offering will replace that for the 2023 Holiday Season. Here’s the announcement:

For the first time in forever, guests will be able to join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the Snowgies in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom for “Frozen Holiday Surprise,” a brand new “Frozen”-inspired entertainment experience that will illuminate the castle in a whole new way. This delightful new offering can be seen during regular park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
