The sheer number of entertainment offerings can feel a bit overwhelming during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but there are some corners of the park that offer guests a chance to slow down a bit and smell the flowers. Of course, we’re talking about Frontierland. Throughout the evening, guests will find roaming and stationary entertainment in Frontierland, and this article will provide an overview of what you might find when you visit Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

Special lighting in Frontierland for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet

The only stationary entertainment in Frontierland (beyond the Boo-to-You Parade which runs through Frontierland twice nightly) is The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet. Officially, The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet plays intermittently between 7pm and 10:50pm on an overlook near the Country Bear Jamboree attraction (which is a treat trail location during the event).

Here’s how Disney describes The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet:

Get ready to encounter the ghostly group known as the Cadaver Dans. They really like “axing” Guests questions… and answering with puns as part of their “dead pan” humor!

This Dapper Dans-style quartet will have you howling in laughter to a bone-rattling bevy of tunes. Don’t miss their performances during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party—offered select nights August 11 through November 1, 2023.

Cactus Flower Cate

Roaming through Frontierland throughout the night (but not found on the event guide) is Cactus Flower Cate. She’s been known to corral a dance party before the Boo-To-You Parade steps off if you find yourself in Frontierland a bit early. She might even wrangle the Country Bears in for a hoedown as guests wait for the parade.

The Country Bears

Speaking of The Country Bears, guests can find them roaming through Frontierland at various points during the evening. The crowds around the Country Bears weren’t large at all as they also roam Frontierland during the normal operating day at Magic Kingdom.
