While visiting EPCOT recently, we noticed that crews were adding astroturf to the construction site next to the Imagination Pavilion. The space looks like it will be a relaxation area, perhaps with less shade than originally thought.
In our previous update, the columns had been installed, and it was believed that there would be canopies strung between them. During our recent visit, there were string lights instead of shade. Here’s a look around the area.
Fans have been installed on the columns.
Crews were spreading rubber across the astroturf.
Somehow, the Wine & Wedge Disney100 kiosk has returned.
Disney World has not announced an opening date for this area, but we imagine it will be open sometime this summer.
