Disney first said in May that D23 Asia was heading to Singapore in 2027. Now the company has filled in the program for the three days at Marina Bay Sands. Experiences will draw from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+, and Hulu. Carol Choi, Executive Vice President of The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific and incoming APAC President, says the event was built with Asia in mind. In her words, “We’re bringing that spirit to Singapore and creating an ultimate fan event specifically for Asia, where fans can discover new worlds, foster new connections and share the joy of great storytelling.”

Three Nights on the Premiere Stage

Each evening has its own theme. Disney says all three nights bring exclusive reveals, celebrity appearances, and first looks from across the company. The schedule breaks down like this:

  • Studio Showcase, June 25th: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and more, with exclusive announcements, never-before-seen footage and surprise celebrity appearances.
  • Disney+ Showcase, June 26th: upcoming Korean and Japanese series alongside new and returning global streaming titles, with first looks and appearances by leading Asian creators and celebrities.
  • Disney Hits LIVE! at D23 Asia, June 27th: a finale concert of Disney and Pixar songs performed by Broadway stars with a live band, rock concert lighting, and larger-than-life animation.

The Disney+ Showcase shows how regional this event will be, with Korean and Japanese series in the lineup. Disney hasn’t named any celebrities or announcements for the nights. The guest list is the biggest open question heading into ticket sales.

Convention Floor, Merchandise, and Tickets

Daytime programming centers on more than 15 immersive experiences inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+ and Hulu. Disney hasn’t said what any of them are yet. Three stages round out the floor. The Storytellers Stage hosts panels and presentations with creators and talent. Talent Central offers character meet-and-greets and special appearances. The Spotlight Stage has live entertainment and interactive fan activities.

Shopping gets two homes. D23 Marketplace is the central hub for collectibles, apparel, and accessories. The Walt Disney Company Store booth will carry D23 Asia-themed collections plus select items usually sold only in Disney’s employee stores. Disney says those employee-store items will be available to the public in Asia Pacific for the first time.

Tickets go on sale in late November, though Disney hasn’t posted prices or ticket types yet.
