In less than a week, Creations Shop will be open at EPCOT as the flagship shop and spiritual successor of MouseGear, which used to occupy the same space. Creations Shop is described by Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley as “a place dedicated to creative inspiration and commemoration” via the souvenirs guests can purchase.
On a trip along the monorail that circles the World Celebration neighborhood, we can see that a second Creations Shop sign has been installed and we even get a peek into the shop itself.
First, here’s a look over the current construction walls to a secondary set of construction walls. This secondary set of walls will become the primary walls when the new walkway outside of Creations Shop opens next week.
A closer look reveals a doorway and what looks like a merchandise display window.
Continuing along the monorail loop, we get a wider view of the Creations Shop structure, which has retained the vast majority of the existing hard theming but has received a new coat of paint and floor-to-ceiling windows.
From here, we can take a closer look at the two currently installed marquees. When completed, there will be five signs in total.
The second sign can be found in the breezeway.
Taking an even closer look, we can start to see some of the signage and mannequins installed indoors. Sections for “kids”, “hats”, and “play” can be seen in incredibly colorful signs.
Creations Shop opens September 15 at EPCOT. To learn more about Creations Shop, check out our article below.
