Step-by-Step Guide: First Look at New Disney World Dining Reservation System Website

Disney World will soon be rolling out a new Disney Dining Reservation website that will offer guests greater visibility and information when booking an Advance Dining Reservation at a Disney World restaurant. While the reservation system is technically live on the Disney World website, it isn’t hasn’t fully replaced the standard dining reservation system just yet. That said, we have a step-by-step walkthrough of what it looks like to use the new Disney World Dining Reservation system!

    1. Enter Your Party Size
The first thing that you’ll be prompted to do is enter your dining party size. You can currently enter a party size of up to 20 guests.

    2. Select Dining Date
Next, you’ll select which date you’d like to dine. There is no way to select multiple dates or search a range of dates at this time.

    3. Select Meal Period (Time)
Next, you’ll select which meal period you’d like to dine during. Note that the options are broken down into Morning, Afternoon, and Evening – not breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll be able to see which meal period you’re selecting on the results page.

    4. View Results
You’ll then be presented with the results of your search. We searched for “all day”, so multiple meal periods are presented to us.

    5. Apply Filters (Optional)
In order to limit the results, you can apply filters such as locations, cuisine type, price, and more. We’re going to filter results to just Magic Kingdom theme park.

    6. View More Times (Optional)
If you would like a more granular view of what times are available, you can click on the “Show More Times” link and more times will be presented to you.

    7. Modify Search (Optional)
You can modify your search at any time by clicking on the date, time, or party size to change what you’re searching for.

    8. Select Add-Ons/Dietary or Accessibility Requests
Once you’ve found a time that works for you, you can then head to check-out where you’ll be asked about any add-ons or requests before entering credit card information to secure the reservation.
