Massive Fire Spotted in EPCOT’s France Pavilion

UPDATE (7:35pm): The fire behind the France pavilion has been extinguished. The fire was caused by a backstage cooler. There were no injuries reported and guest areas should start to reopen. Our original article continues below.


A massive fire is raging in EPCOT’s France pavilion this evening. The dark smoke is visible from around the EPCOT area, and we obtained photos of the smoke from within the France pavilion as fire truck sirens could be heard.

Massive Fire in France Pavilion at EPCOT

The smoke appears to be coming from the area of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is closed at this hour. Here are some photos of the smoke as the fire appeared to rage on.
