California Governor Gavin Newsom has announced a panel of more than 70 business leaders and more that would advise on the reopening of the state’s economy.
While we just reported on the representative for Walt Disney World in Florida, Disney Executive Chairman Bob Iger will be the representative for the company in California. Iger is no longer CEO of Disney, but he has reportedly taken control of the company back to help guide it through these uncharted waters.
The goal of the Governor Newsom’s task force is to advise on the steps needed to reopen the economy and provide the perspective of businesses located within the state.
California has not determined a timeline for when the state will reopen, and Disneyland remains closed indefinitely.
