As COVID-19 case numbers rise, consumer confidence in visiting amusement parks has hit a 3-month low after a fairly consistent rise dating back to late last year.
According to a Morning Consult poll, 44% of adults said that they would feel comfortable visiting an amusement park right now. That’s down from a high of 51% back in early July, and matches levels seen in May. A similar dip was observed from late 2020 into 2021 as COVID-19 cases rose during January before a vaccine was made widely available.
Now, as Florida sees record high COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, consumer confidence is starting to wane. On Disney’s end, they have mandated the wearing of face masks while indoors and are requiring that all of their employees get vaccinated against COVID-19.

It sure sounds as if the parks are packed though, who are they surveying? And this is with the ridiculous mask mandates for vaccinated people.
