The City of Anaheim is considering a 2% admissions tax on attendees of large entertainment and sporting events, including guests visiting the Disneyland Resort.

The resolution will be considered in an upcoming city council meeting and calls for a 2% tax on entertainment and sporting venues with a capacity of more than 15,000 people. The tax was originally proposed to be a 1% tax, but it has been increased to 2% since its initial proposal.
