Kali River Rapids is having a tough first day back on the job. The white water rapids attraction briefly opened this morning after its 2-month refurbishment, before a guest evacuation took place around 10am. The attraction reopened around 11:15am before another evacuation just took place around 12:30pm.
This afternoon, the attraction sits mostly drained of water and turned back over to maintenance as crews work through the issues. Cast Members were advising guests to check the My Disney Experience throughout the day to see if the ride would reopen.
