The Extended Evening Hours perk will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this September. The perk will likely shift from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Wednesdays, starting with Wednesday, September 25th. The move has not yet been officially announced by Walt Disney World, but we expect that it will be in the coming days. The change should be visible on the My Disney Experience calendar starting tomorrow.

Moving Extended Evening Hours from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Hollywood Studios occurred last year as well, with Magic Kingdom ramping up the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party frequency about midway through September. While there are no Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates on Wednesdays this year, it’s possible that Disney simply wants to spread out crowds.
In the past, we have seen the Extended Evening Hours perk shift between theme parks as special events take place during the Fall and Winter seasons such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Again, we expect Disney World to announce these changes soon, and we anticipate that there will be even more changes through the end of 2024.
Walt Disney World has previously announced that both the Extended Evening Hours perk for Deluxe Resort guests and the Early Entry perk for all Disney Resort guests will be extended through the end of 2025.
