Disneyland Parking Lot Trams Returning Early 2022, Disney World Remains Silent

Disneyland officials have announced that the parking lot trams will be returning in “early 2022” (via OC Register). Meanwhile, at the Walt Disney World Resort (which has been open 9 months longer), there have been no indications or announcements that tram service would be returning anytime soon.

Despite having no physical distancing restrictions, or outdoor mask mandates, Disney World has simply parked their trams at the back of their theme park parking lots for months.

The parking lot tram situation has taken hold on social media amongst Disney Parks fans but has recently extended into mainstream news with late-night comedian Stephen Colbert mocking the company for not bringing back tram service.
