When you wish upon a star… The first-ever MICHELIN Guide for Florida was revealed tonight and Disney World struck out despite having some wonderful dining experiences.
Restaurants like Jiko, Flying Fish, and (especially) Victoria & Albert’s offer upscale dining experiences at Walt Disney World, but with Victoria & Albert’s still shuttered, Disney saw perhaps their best shot at getting a MICHELINÂ star disappear tonight as the winners were announced moments ago.
That said, guests staying at Walt Disney World can still find a MICHELIN-star meal by heading over to the Four Seasons Resort. Capa earned a single star with judges saying that the restaurant “flaunts a decidedly Spanish accent. Kick things off with ace tapas before indulging in a main dish, like flame-kissed ribeye with tamarind-ancho sauce.”
Other starred restaurants in Orlando included Soseki, Kadence, and Knife & Spoon.
The Ravenous Pig, the off-property sister restaurant of The Polite Pig, earned a Bib Gourmand designation, which recognizes great food at a great value.
