The steel framing for the Ratatouille attraction facade has begun in Epcot. Located behind the current France pavilion buildings, the Ratatouille attraction is using previously unused expansion space. First, here’s a look at the facade as seen in the latest concept art (we’ve highlighted the attraction facade at the back of the concept art).
Here’s a look at the latest progress. We can see the attraction show building in white, with the steel facade being constructed in front of it.
As part of the new attraction, an all-new alleyway will be created behind the existing buildings as well. We can see land clearing between the France pavilion buildings and the International Gateway waterway to support the new pathway.
The Ratatouille-themed attraction is expected to be very similar Ratatouille: The Adventure in Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. Disney hasn’t announced an opening date beyond “before October 2021”.
