Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin Queue Reroute Project Completed at Magic Kingdom; Buzz Lightyear Blocked for FastPass+ Guests

The Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin queue reroute project is now complete at Magic Kingdom.

Since the last time we checked in on the project, a wall has been added to properly separate FastPass+ guests and standby guests. Unfortunately, that also means that the Buzz Lightyear Audio-Animatronic is now hidden from view for FastPass+ guests.

Previous to the wall installation, guests could at least see the Audio-Animatronic, even if the reroute of the queue no longer took them right past the Audio-Animatronic as has been the case for years.

First, let’s take a look at how open the queue was during the last week of work.

Here’s a look at the completed queue project from this morning, as we walk through the standby queue.

Here’s a look at the FastPass+ queue (left, merge at Cast Member), and the rest of the queue. Note that the walls block the view of Buzz Lightyear completely.

Here’s a look at the wall divide, standby entrance to the left and FastPass+ on the right.
