According to a report by the OC Register, the NBA and Walt Disney World have come to an agreement to let NBA Players, staff, and entourage get access to the Walt Disney World theme parks after they close to regular guests.
The NBA will have access to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, according to the report. Some of the “bookable experiences” are after-hours access to Expedition Everest, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster, and Test Track.
The Disney World theme parks begin a phased reopening over the coming week, with Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom opening July 11th, and EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopening on July 15th.
“Players will have the first opportunity to select experiences on a first come first serve basis and are recommended to book experiences at least 48 hours in advance,” a memo obtained by USA Today said. “Open slots for experiences will be released 24 hours prior to the beginning of the event, during which period other members of the team travel party may book available inventory.”
