Guests Evacuated at Test Track Following Security Incident, Stranded Without Belongings

UPDATE (3/13 – 11am): Test Track reopened normally to guests. Our original story continues below.

Shortly before 9pm tonight, guests were evacuated from Test Track following what appeared to be a security incident.

According to a report to BlogMickey.com from Thrills & Things on Instagram, guests were evacuated from the attraction and the queue was dumped just before multiple security Cast Members were spotted running into the attraction building. Guests were then asked to evacuate beyond a set perimeter and the attraction was closed for the evening. Guests were told to leave their belongings and pick them up later at Guest Relations.

An incident was briefly filed with the Orange County Sheriff Office for a “fire” in the vicinity of EPCOT, but Cast Members at the attraction wouldn’t give details about what prompted the evacuation. The incident was removed from the Orange County Sheriff Office queue, but the attraction remained closed until EPCOT closed at 10pm.
