It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on the TRON Lightcycle Run construction project, but we made it out to Magic Kingdom this morning and decided to get an elevated look at the project from aboard the Astro Orbiter.
As you can see in the photos below, the most significant progress since our last update is that a portion of the canopy is now freestanding. While the jungle of steel can be tough to interpret, the actual roller coaster track is under the orange tarp – protected from the welding and washing occurring on the canopy. With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest progress!
Further back, Disney is working on finishing the final piece of the canopy.
We can see the pre-fabricated pieces being put into place.
As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
I can’t wait for Tron:Lightcycle run at the Magic Kingdom! And I can’t hardly wait to ride on Tron: Lightcycle Run when it’s finished Construction!
