Production Crews Close Fantasyland Bridge in Magic Kingdom for Possible American Idol Filming

Good morning from Magic Kingdom! While walking around the park this morning we noticed that one popular pathway was closed – the bridge to Fantasyland. Located just to the right of Cinderella Castle, the Fantasyland Bridge is typically the most popular route to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction.

This morning, guests are being routed around a production set that has closed the Fantasyland bridge. It’s possible that this could be preliminary filming for the American Idol “Disney Night” that was announced a couple of days ago. According to host Ryan Seacrest, contestants were flown to the Walt Disney World Resort following the previous show.

Now, a decent-size production setup can be found with enough physically distanced umbrellas for the 9 contestants and 1 host. Here’s a look at the setup!
