According to ABC7, California state officials have announced that the state is still on track for a “full” reopening on or before June 15th.
When that time rolls around, capacity restrictions and physical distancing constraints will no longer be required. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will not be required for anything.
California will no longer have requirements, but will have recommendations for “mega events” such as outdoor live events with more than 10,000 people. In these types of settings, California will recommend that venues have a type of vaccination/negative COVID-19 test verification.
At this time, it’s unclear if Disneyland would fall under these recommendations. Disneyland will certainly have more than 10,000 guests in their theme parks at any given time.
A more formal announcement of recommendations is scheduled for later today or, at latest, tomorrow, according to California Governor Gavin Newsom.
