According to Brooke Geiger McDonald, Disney has confirmed that the Star Wars Launch Bay will host character meet and greets again in the future. A reopening date was not identified.

The Star Wars Launch Bay has been closed for more than 2 years as the future of the space was called into question. While the walk-through display section of the Launch Bay has been open, the character meet and greets have been closed. In the past, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, BB-8, and Darth Vader have been available to meet. With Chewbacca and Kylo Ren now occupying Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it will be interesting to see if Disney switches up the meet and greet lineup, or if it will remain the same.
