Captain Hook & Peter Pan Added to Disney Treasure Stern as Construction Continues in Germany

Disney Cruise Line has provided another update for the upcoming Disney Treasure cruise ship, set to debut later this year. Peter Pan and Captain Hook have finally made their way onto the Disney Treasure!

The team at Meyer Werft Shipyard is celebrating the installment of the character sculptures. Before making their way to Papenburg, Germany, the sculptures were built in California. To give an idea of the scale of these characters, Peter Pan is over 9 feet tall and wears a size 36.5 shoe! Both figures were carefully lifted by the shipyard team with cranes and securely bolted to the ship’s stern. Captain Hook and Peter Pan complement the Disney Treasure’s theme of adventure and add a touch of Disney magic to the classically designed exterior of the ship.
