First Tron Roller Coaster Track Piece Officially Installed at Magic Kingdom

After covering a lot of the milestones to date for the Tron roller coaster at Magic Kingdom, we’re happy to bring you another milestone this morning: the first track piece to be installed!

After riding the newly reopened Tomorrowland Speedway, we decided to head over to Storybook Circus to get a better look at the progress from this past week. As it turns out, the first track piece was installed just yesterday evening! Here’s a look at the low, banking piece that was installed.

We’ll take a closer look below, where you can see the track installed onto the support columns. The pieces installed appear to form a low, banking u-turn, with the lowest point just feet off of the ground on the left of the first image below.
