PHOTOS: Disney Skyliner Gondola Construction at Boardwalk Resort

Land clearing has begun near Disney’s Boardwalk Resort in support of the Disney Skyliner gondola project. This particular part of the project will be a simple turn station, as guests travel to and from Epcot.

First, an overview of the project area, with the parking lot of Disney’s Hollywood Studios visible to the south.

Here’s a look at the work.

The work extends into a portion of the valet and overflow parking lots.

The Disney Skyliner system is expected to be operational by mid-2019.
