New Parking Lot Opens as Work on "The Cove" Hotel Progresses Near Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf

A new parking lot is now open for Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf thanks to nearby construction of “The Cove” hotel (PERMITS, CONCEPT ART). The parking lot sits on the former event pavilion space after an extensive demolition process. In addition to the new parking lot, there is a new entrance too.

It’s at the new entrance that we’ll start our photo tour of the new layout. It’s worth noting that both of the Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf courses are unaffected by the work and they will remain open throughout. As you can see below, the new entrance could be easy to miss if you’re accustomed to the old entrance.

The new entrance road winds back to the new parking lot. Which is where the next photos will come from as we walk in from the parking lot towards the entrance to Fantasia Gardens.

A peek past the construction walls shows more parking lot should be opening soon.

I will say, it’s odd to park here and have such a good view of the mini golf. Previously this space was a seldom used event pavilion.

We’ll continue walking towards Fantasia Gardens.

Finally, here’s a look at the first hole on the Fairways course, and the space where The Cove will rise. We can see the beginnings of a tower crane under construction.
