As the NBA prepares to restart their season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Walt Disney World, they have shared an inside look at the practice courts being installed at Coronado Springs Resort.
As you can see in the photos below, the practice courts are being installed inside the convention center space at the resort. While the installation of a basketball court isn’t new for Coronado Springs, surprisingly enough, it’s cool to see some custom flooring being installed for the NBA teams staying at the resort.
The NBA season will restart on July 30th and players, coaches, and staff will begin to arrive at Walt Disney World in the next week.
As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest Disney Parks news and photos. We’ll continue to bring you news and photos, where possible, through the Disney Parks closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will resume our normal coverage once the parks reopen to guests on July 11th!
Why is Disney bending over backwards for the NBA and there families. We have not missed nor needed the NBA yet now they are being housed at Disney putting a damper on the rest if us trying to get to the parks. How a will they practice Social distancing. Makes me hate the NBA and the rest of the professional sports. They are not essential part of our lives and life went on without them. Yet we as visitors coming back to MK will have bow down to the NBA.
Speak for yourself. I miss and need the NBA. I applaud Disney.
