According to information obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, Disney World will be laying off about 6,700 non-union Cast Members from the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement that 28,000 domestic Disney Parks Cast Members would be laid off. According to the filing with the state, layoffs will begin December 4th.

Disney is still in discussions with unions about how many Cast Members would be laid off. As of last count, over 21,000 union Cast Members were still not back to work. Disney World’s largest union released a statement yesterday, but doesn’t have an exact count of affected Cast Members.
