New France Lockdown in Place Through Early May, Disneyland Paris Remains Closed Indefinitely

France President Emmanuel Macron has announced that the entire nation will be under a lockdown through at least May 3rd, beginning on Saturday, April 3rd (via Reuters).

The lockdown applies to the entire country, including Disneyland Paris, which was originally planned to reopen today, April 2nd. Disneyland Paris was forced to extend their closure indefinitely, causing Disney CEO Bob Chapek to admit that he believes that Disneyland Paris will reopen (again) last, even later than Disneyland Park which is scheduled to reopen on April 30th.

Disneyland Paris originally reopened on July 15, 2020 and faced a series of lockdowns and modified hours to comply with government orders. Most recently, Disneyland Paris has been closed since October 30, 2020.
