Late last night, Disneyland held a special live stream welcoming back Cast Members and awakening Sleeping Beauty Castle for the first time since the COVID-19 shutdowns back in March. The event, which was specifically designed for the “Magic Makers”, welcomes back Cast Members who have gone through an especially difficult year as the California government kept Disneyland closed more than 9 months after the original July 17, 2020 proposed reopening date.
Today, Cast Member soft openings begin at Disneyland as Cast Members are the first people to walk right down the middle of Main Street USA ahead of a public reopening of the Disneyland Resort theme parks on April 30, 2021.
