While we haven’t seen Disney World implement any vaccination status checks for guests visiting their theme parks and resorts, they will be using vaccination status to separate Cast Members participating in the upcoming Disney College Program.
According to emails sent out to Disney College Program participants, Disney is requiring participants to indicate whether or not they will be fully vaccinated by the time their program begins.
While vaccination status does not affect the hiring status of an individual, participants will not be able to select a roommate unless they are fully vaccinated by the time they arrive. If a participant is not vaccinated, they will be randomly placed with other unvaccinated individuals based on floorplan type.
Essentially, vaccinated individuals will live with vaccinated individuals, and unvaccinated individuals will be placed with unvaccinated individuals.
The Disney College Program is targeting a mid-June restart, and program participants will be housed in the all-new Flamingo Crossings Village. For a rare tour of the new Disney College Program housing, check out our article below.
