Mask-Free Relaxation Stations Remain in Place at Disney World

Relaxation Stations, originally the only spot where guests could leisurely remove their face masks in Disney World, are still around today even with the new rule that guests can remove their face coverings while outdoors.

The Relaxation Stations are technically not needed, but certainly still provide some much-needed relaxation areas within the theme parks. They also act as an area where guests are ensured that they will be physically distanced from others via enforcement by Cast Members.

It’s unclear how long Disney plans to keep these Relaxation Stations in place, but they have taken over areas such as shows or meet and greet areas that would typically be in use.

  1. As long as people still feel a need to wear masks and we have a majority of unvaccinated individuals in the US the relaxation stations will be needed. Saying they are “technically not needed” is misguided.
