Fireworks are once again filling the skies over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom as Disney performed a full show test of Happily Ever After Saturday night. The test took place at 11:30pm and guests in the Magic Kingdom area resorts were the first people to see fireworks return to Magic Kingdom in 469 days. No guests were inside the park for the test, but Cast Members will get an exclusive preview on June 29th.

We made it out to the beaches of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to capture the historic moment as we watched with dozens of other guests. Here’s our full 4K video of the Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular test show!

Starting July 1st, Happily Ever After will be shown nightly at Magic Kingdom.
