Jungle Cruise failed to open at 8am this morning at Magic Kingdom. The attraction is undergoing a live refurbishment, which means that changes are happening to the attraction without a closure of the attraction. Crews are working overnight to change and remove scenes as a reimagining of the attraction to remove negative cultural depictions takes place.
Cast Members said that the ride is currently facing “major technical difficulties” this morning and that guests are asked to check back later to see if it will be operating.
While details on what happened are light, it’s possible that some overnight work impacted their ability to open the attraction on time. Boats are cycling through the attraction.
