Splash Mountain is closed unexpectedly today at Magic Kingdom. The attraction failed to open with the rest of the park this morning, and Cast Members are unsure when the attraction might reopen. Empty boats can be seen cycling through the attraction, but Cast Members have told BlogMickey.com that doesn’t necessarily mean a reopening is imminent.
This closure is temporary and unrelated to the pending reimagining of the attraction into a Princess and the Frog-themed ride.
