After failing to open back in February, Disney has set a new reopening date for the Souk-al-Magreb shop in the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT. According to internal calendars, Disney is targeting April 24th as a reopening date for the shop.
Back in December 2020, Disney took ownership of the Morocco Pavilion after the third-party operator who previously owned a majority of the locations fell into financial hardship as a result of COVID-19 closures.
Since Disney took over, there have been a number of changes made to the pavilion, both cosmetically and operationally.
No word on what changes have taken place within the gift shop, but here’s a look at the space before it closed.
