After completing a major milestone recently, testing of the TRON Lightcycle Run ride vehicles continues today at Magic Kingdom. Testing was occurring as quickly as roughly two-minute dispatches and some ride vehicles had test dummies on them. Disney has not officially announced an opening date for the attraction, but sources have indicated that Disney wants to open the ride later this year. Whether or not they can hit that timeline remains to be seen, but after years of a seemingly lethargic construction pace, the pace of work appears to be increasing in recent weeks.
We made it out to Magic Kingdom earlier today to take a look at the full-speed testing. Here are some photos and video!
