“Tale of the Lion King” Performances Canceled at Disneyland Following Multiple Cast Members Experiencing Illness

According to a report from the OC Register, “Tale of the Lion King” the newest show to open at Disneyland, has been canceled after multiple Cast Members have called out sick. While the report does not say if the illness was COVID-19, there is a surge happening in America since early April.

The report says that the cancellation comes at a time when national media were flown into the Disneyland Resort to watch the new show, among other things on the itinerary.

It’s unknown if future performances will be cancelled in the days to come.
