Funnel Cloud Spotted From EPCOT

|

As severe weather moved through the Disney World area, a guest at EPCOT captured a stunning photo of what appears to be a funnel cloud north of EPCOT. The photo, which was taken by Andrew Klatt, shows what appears to be a funnel cloud north of the EPCOT area, with Spaceship Earth in the foreground.

Video captured by Joey Boudreaux shows the funnel cloud north of EPCOT and it appears that there is some rotation.

Local weather media has not reported on the funnel cloud, but we will update this article with more information as it becomes available. It is hard to tell how far away the funnel cloud is, but Magic Kingdom and other areas of Disney World property extend about 3.7 miles north of EPCOT.
