With a Spring 2023 opening on the horizon, TRON Lightcycle Run construction is wrapping up (it has to be wrapping up soon, right?!). We made it out to Magic Kingdom earlier today to take a spin on the Tomorrowland PeopleMover to check in on the work taking place in the courtyard. Most of the pathway work has been completed and a lot of the foliage is in place. Here’s a look!
A backstage area is nearly complete too as Walt Disney World Railroad testing continues through the area.
Vehicle testing continues as well. While most of the vehicles contained dummies, there were some human riders as well. Of course, human riders are nothing new for the attraction. BlogMickey.com first spotted human riders back in August.
TRON Lightcycle Run will open in Spring 2023, but an exact date has not yet been announced.
