Disney World Water Park Swap Continues

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is now open, resulting in the closure of Blizzard Beach as the water park swap continues into 2024.

Originally required due to staffing and lower interest in water parks following the COVID-19 shutdowns, Disney World is continuing the post-COVID tradition of only operating one water park at a time this year.

It’s unclear if Disney World will continue to implement the water park swap in 2025 or not.
