Bright suns Good morning from Disney’s Hollywood Studios where a brand new Star Tours scene has debuted to celebrate recent Star Wars Disney+ shows. The new scene takes guests to Seatos to battle among the purrgil before being whisked off to another destination. While there is only one new scene, there are multiple transmissions that are randomized featuring Ahsoka, The Mandalorian & Grogu, or Andor.
In terms of logistics, all flights are currently locked on the new scene, with other scenes in the ride experience still randomized. Cast Members we spoke with said that flights are locked onto the new scene for the foreseeable future, and they were not aware of an end date.
As with previous new scene debuts, the new Star Tours attraction poster can be found at the main entrance to the ride. Here’s a look before we get to the full video of the new scene!
New Star Tours Scene with Ahsoka
In terms of our first impressions of the new scene, we’re a little bit let down. When it was revealed that we would be flying among the purrgil, the ultimate wish fulfillment would be to travel at hyperspace within its mouth or even alongside it. Other than that, the new Star Tours scene was fun with some decent movements, including a “barrel roll”! Of course, the limitations of the vehicle ensure that you don’t actually go upside down, but it’s a fun effect and a playful moment.
