According to Walt Disney World, there will be “sporadic firework testing” at Magic Kingdom after midnight tonight. Here’s the message:
Apologies to our neighbors and guests for some noise after midnight tonight due to sporadic firework testing at Magic Kingdom.
It’s possible that Magic Kingdom is testing some of its Fourth of July fireworks ahead of the holiday display. Disney World typically tests fireworks a few weeks before using launch sites or show displays that haven’t been used in a while.
The wording from Disney World suggests that the testing will not be of a full show. It’s possible that Disney World could be testing the perimeter launch sites that are utilized during the Fourth of July fireworks display.
