The 2024 Holiday Season is underway at Walt Disney World, and three new entertainment acts are now available for guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios. One of the new acts is the Juggling Elves and they are billed as “holiday helpers delivering festive cheer with a side of shenanigans as they show off their skills of juggling, comedy and more”. We made it out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to grab some photos and video of the new act!
Juggling Elves Holiday Entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
While we found the Juggling Elves in the Echo Lake area, they were also performing near the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant earlier in the day. Walt Disney World has not published showtimes for the Juggling Elves (or any of the new entertainment), but we watched their act at 3:15pm. It’s possible that they have hourly performances 15 minutes after the top of the hour throughout the day. We didn’t see any acts past 4pm, so that appears to be the cutoff time.
The Juggling Elves is a roughly 15-minute show, and it features Donald Duck briefly, although he remains present throughout the entire act. The inclusion of characters to watch or participate in these new entertainment acts replaces their traditional meet-and-greet availability throughout the day. Instead of a formal meet and greet, we saw Donald Duck and Max Goof roaming Sunset Boulevard when their respective shows were not being performed, but that is always subject to change.
During the Juggling Elves act, the two elves perform a variety of juggling acts such as spinning plates, yo-yo tricks, balancing acts, and more, all infused with some physical comedy. At one point, the show calls for some audience participation during a plate-spinning act. It’s a fun way for little ones to play along and interact with Donald Duck in a whole new way.
