Disney’s Hollywood Studios Closing at 6pm in Mid-June
While there has been some speculation that the park is closing early due to a party for the Toy Story 5 movie releasing the next day, the 6pm closure on June 18th at Hollywood Studios is for a corporate private buyout.
SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, will be renting out Disney’s Hollywood Studios as part of their SHRM26 conference. SHRM26 After Hours is a private buyout of Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Thursday, June 18th.
While the park will close to guests at 6pm, the private buyout is from 8pm to 11pm, promising shorter lines on attractions, fireworks, and more. Food and beverages will also be included during the private event.
If you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 18th, you will likely find slightly lower wait times due to the shortened park hours. Just like seasonal party days at Magic Kingdom, guests often skip a theme park when the operating hours are shortened.
