Walt Disney World has added Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to its Airport Luggage Transfer service. It’s the first Moderate Resort to join the offering, bringing the total number of participating hotels to six. Guests staying at Caribbean Beach can now send checked bags directly to and from Orlando International Airport on eligible flights.

Caribbean Beach Joins the Program

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is now listed as a participating hotel for Airport Luggage Transfer, according to the official Walt Disney World website. It joins Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort on the eligible properties list. That brings the total to six participating hotels.

Every prior hotel on the list has been a Value Resort. Caribbean Beach breaks that pattern as the program’s first Moderate Resort. Disney has previously announced plans to expand the service, and today’s expansion is a major step.

How the Service Works

Airport Luggage Transfer lets eligible guests send checked bags to and from Orlando International Airport without a baggage claim stop. Those flying in can register ahead of time and have bags delivered to their resort, usually within about four hours of landing. Guests heading home instead drop bags at Luggage Assistance or Bell Services in the resort lobby and skip the airline check-in line at the airport.

The service still covers only American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines. Disney’s website says more airlines could join later, though it gives no timeline.

The Story So Far

  • The service launched as a limited pilot at Disney’s Pop Century Resort in late March 2025, covering Southwest Airlines departures only.
  • Disney officially named the program Airport Luggage Transfer and expanded it to all five Value Resorts in April 2025.
  • The company added Southwest arrivals in November 2025, creating a full round-trip option for the first time.
  • American Airlines and United Airlines joined the service beginning in May 2026.
  • Disney briefly listed Delta Air Lines as a participating carrier in June 2026, then removed it the same day, saying the listing was an error.
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has now joined as the program’s first Moderate Resort.
