Guests were evacuated from Splash Mountain earlier today due to a family of ducks enjoying the attraction as well. The ducks were splashing around and setting off the intrusion alarms, causing the ride to constantly stop and restart. It became so frequent that Disney decided to shut down the ride as the ducks were relocated.
Splash Mountain Cast Members are currently cycling through the safety checks to reopen the ride this afternoon. As of publish time, the attraction is still closed.
