Talking Mickey Mouse is now saving his voice for television. Magic Words With Mickey, or the Talking Mickey Mouse Town Square Meet and Greet, now has a silent Mickey Mouse like the rest of the meet and greet offerings found around Walt Disney World. Cast Members working in the area confirmed the change this morning.
While Disney hasn’t officially commented on the situation, we’ve heard that a combination of factors likely contributed to the decision including overall cost to run the experience and an attempt to make all Mickey Mouse meet and greets similar around Walt Disney World to avoid confusion.
