Starting today, plastic straws have been removed at Walt Disney World parks and resorts and part of their environmental initiative to reduce single-use plastics. While visiting Magic Kingdom this morning we noticed that paper straws are now in use at the quick service locations. When we asked Cast Members if it was just at Magic Kingdom, they indicated that it was a resort-wide change as of today.
Walt Disney World joins Disneyland and Disneyland Paris as parks that use paper straws now.

I’m bringing my own, I wasted easily $60 on frozen beverages with the dissolving paper straws they hand you. Used 3-5 per beverage they dissolved so rapidly.
